Jim has finally finished the commission he has been working on over the last 6 months called "Land of the Silver Birch". If you ask him, he might sing the whole song for you. It is an amazing sculpture and fascinating to watch when all the parts are in motion. (I might be a little biased but it's pure genius!)
We are heading up north today to deliver it tomorrow to it's final resting place.
We have been given an extension on our arrival time at BFA and are looking at mid-September for our departure, at this point. This is giving us the cushion of time we need to finish up Jim's work, sell the house, pack, take Hamish to university and raise our support. The young couple who first introduced us to BFA will be looking after the dorm until we arrive. We are thankful for God's timing and God's way! Praise the Lord!
Prayer Requests
- Praise the Lord that He brought Peter and Janet to rent our house. Pray that they will be settled there and feel that it is home.
- Please pray for our children, Niall and Sorche, as they settle into school and dorm life. Pray for good friends for both of them and that they will be able to handle the adjustment to a new school routine.
- We are so thankful for the many people who have pledged to support us financially. Please continue to pray for this area, for our understanding of the new things we are encountering and that God will provide for us in all areas.
